Languedoc socks

The pattern for these Languedoc Socks was created during our holiday in (you guessed it) the beautiful Languedoc region in France. I needed a new “on-the-go” sock, but wanted to add just a little extra. That became the cuff in coffee bean stitch and a repeating row of purl stitches which, in all its simplicity, creates a wonderfully fun effect when worn. The pattern works especially well with variegated or softly self-striping sock yarns, combined with solid colours for the cuff, heel, and toe. I wish you lots of knitting fun!
