Sturdy stripes socks

After knitting my Sturdy stripes shawl, I was left with those lovely little leftovers from each of the 24 mini skeins in my yarn advent calendar. Deciding what to do with them wasn’t difficult at all—I simply had to design a matching pair of Sturdy stripes socks! Just like the shawl, this sock pattern is wonderfully versatile. It’s perfect for using up your leftover sock yarn to create a fun pair of scrappy socks, but it also looks fantastic when worked in two or more colors. Whether you choose solid shades, variegated yarn, or hand-dyed leftovers, you’ll end up with a beautiful pair of bold striped socks. The stripe sequence is slightly different from the one used in the shawl, giving the socks their own playful character while still making them a perfect match.
